CanUS & Friends

Sun. October 4th 2020 1:30pm - 3:00pm doors at 12:30pm (All Ages)
Cancelled - Livestream + In Person $15
The show must go on! Good times and bad - even though with the new rules just handed down, it will be more a listening experience than a social gathering with entertainment for the local folks.
New rules include the following:
People please stay seated and avoid talking during the musical numbers.
There is a pause in between tunes, so that people can place orders with more spacing and softer speech.
No intermission so shorter show-time in length.
Due to Joey Smith’s corneal implant operation there will be a slightly different line-up and so the bass player is going to be that amazing young Ryan Tandy who has subbed for us before. And on drums, the bundle of fun and master of the rhythm backing we need in our dixieland genre, Damian Graham. Up front, Alfons who just delights me in his trumpet playing and has added singing! That much-loved musician, Al Pease steps in and away we go with Toni Blodgett and her raggy-time piano playing and also singing the odd song.

There’s nothing that musicians like more than a get together of fellow players that they so respect and getting the chance to make music together.
