Celebrating Hermann & the Kidney Foundation - a Fundraiser with the Tom Vickery Trio
March is Kidney Awareness Month. This month has a special meaning for us - Hermann Nieweler himself was one of the oldest kidney transplant recipients in 2010. After his procedure, he was a loyal advocate for the cause, even going as far as to rappel a 13-storey bank building in 2013 to raise money for charity.
On March 31, we will celebrate Kidney Month with a special show to raise funds and awareness for the work of the BC/Yukon Kidney Foundation and organ donation. Hermann’s Jazz Club is forever thankful for the gift of life the Kidney Foundation and the BC Transplant Society provided to Hermann. Tom Vickery, who has had a kidney removed himself, will be headlining the event.
